The Divorce of Advertising and the Consumer
Does your Ad guy listen to you? Also… nice embedded ad at the end?
“What are you doing Dave?” Hand signals subvert the need for a television remote control.
It is the year 2009. Man can now communicate with television via a series of hand signals. (Just don’t do the “Hand-Jive” or it might malfunction). Seriously, Daily Mail just posted an article in Science and Technology indicating that:
Dr Premaratne, of the University of Wollongong….. has come up with a box that lets television viewers change channels, switch on the DVD player or switch off an irritating presenter with the wave of a hand.
Imagine no longer looking for the remote in the cushions of your couch. Or worse… losing control of the TV because you no longer have to fight for the remote?
The next iteration surely will be a tie-in to internet browsing as the internet and TV will soon merge. Gee… I thought the Wii looked silly.
Volkswagen Fast Hair Commercial
I n0w have a fast on my desk (thanks HappyKatie). My fast wants to drive with the windows down. Also, he likes long road trips. Sometimes people just don’t understand. It must be my gypsy blood.
