I read a post today that said MyYearbook.com is right behind Facebook and MySpace in unique visitors for social media web sites. Can anyone tell me where they (Fortune Technology Blog) got their data?

Skype API Mashup Contest

Skype has just announced a developer contest….that could land you in Prague (via Programmable Web)

• The competition runs from 22nd June to 31st August 2007
• The winner will be given air travel to the Skype developer and beta tester days in Prague, Sept 12-13
• Third party reviews of all entries are prohibited until 9:00 a.m. GMT, Friday, Sept. 14, 2007
• All top 10 runner-ups will get promoted and published by Skype
• Winners will be judged on Skypeness (what is Skype centric about it), usability, coolness, usefulness, stability and a flair or weird factor.

I love to see companies working with their usergroups. And also I can’t wait to see what mashups are created.

This song is a little folky… but I like the cartoon. It made me smile.

It is kind of cool in that it has a playlist based on your category and it seems like a pretty interesting continual feed of content. I was in the indie music category and having a good time. It also contained “She Don’t Use Jelly” by the Flaming Lips. Have fun:
