Tech Crunch posted a link to a user generated data sharing web site calle Swivel. Users get to upload and compare data sets with charting options. Edward Tufte would be proud.

There are all kinds of data on the site to play with. I like this one:

The graph above shows that spikes in wine consumption are opposite of declines in violent crime in the US. (in relative values) This may give a good reason for people to chill out and have a nice glass of merlot and just get along. Or, it could just be coincidence.
